Edelman Digital Bootcamp

Roll Call

A team of UGA students assisted Edelman in the research and logistics for EDB. Below is a list of their names and assignments during the campaign. You can also check out more information about them on their LinkedIn profile.
Karen Baxter is a senior majoring in public relations at the University of Georgia. Baxter is a member of the publicity committee for the Edelman Digital Bootcamp. Baxter has written social media releases, press releases and other articles for media coverage of the event.

Haley Binowski graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University in May 2007. Currently, Binowski is a graduate student at the UGA studying mass communication and public relations. Binowski is a member of the research team and also in charge of the campaign book for EDB.


Connie Braesch is a graduate student in public relations at the UGA. She is the Campaign Team Leader for EDB and has coordinated the event’s planning and execution.

Sarah Goldfarb is a senior public relations major at the UGA. Goldfarb will graduate in May and plans to attend graduate school in the fall to study international communication. Goldfarb is a member of the logistics during the conference committee for EDB.

Katie Greene is a senior majoring in public relations and new media. Her role in this campaign was to assist in Web site development and event registration

Kelly Jones is a senior at the UGA graduating in May 2008. She is a public relations and English major completing a certificate in new media. During the course of this campaign, Jones has worked as a the leader of the Web site committee.

Lindsay Lamphere is a senior public relations and speech communication major at UGA. She is a member of the social media communication team for EDB and wants everyone to be a part of the conversation!

Lindsey Loughman is a senior public relations student graduating in August 2008 with her PR degree and a degree in International Affairs. On the EDB team, Lindsey led the research committee before moving to the social media communication committee.

Aaron McKevitt is a senior at the UGA. He will graduate in May 2008 with a degree in public relations and a minor in speech communication. During the course of this campaign, McKevitt has worked as a member of the publicity committee.

Megan Poitevint will graduate in May 2008 with degrees in public relations and political science. She plans to attend law school in the fall. Megan has been a member of the research team during this campaign.

Cindy Schnably graduated summa cum laude from Marshall University and
is a graduate student at the UGA studying public
relations. Schnably is the publicity committee leader for EDB.

Bonnie Williams is a senior at the UGA. She plans to graduate in May 2008 with a dual degree in public relations and Spanish. While working on the EDB campaign, Bonnie is the Logistics team leader, helping to ensure a successful and seemless event.

Heather Wrye is a senior at the UGA. She will graduate in May with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. Wrye does all of the graphic design for EDB.
